WHO I AM
I'm Amy Donnon, owner and designer of Aspen & Pine Renovation Design, and I bring over two decades of hands-on experience in renovation and new construction design. As the lead designer for Donnon Builders—formerly based in Marietta, GA, a suburb of Atlanta, and now in Leadville, CO—I honed my skills working on a diverse range of projects. My portfolio spans custom-built homes in metro Atlanta and Florida's Gulf Coast to aged and historic properties in Marietta, GA, and Leadville, CO. Though self-taught, my extensive experience on both the design and construction sides of renovation has refined my ability to seamlessly balance aesthetics, cost, and functionality. This expertise enables me to maximize the potential of every space, optimizing storage and flow while achieving polished looks on any budget. My thoughtful and creative approach ensures that each design reflects my clients’ unique visions, making the renovation process smooth and delivering homes that are both functional and beautiful.
WHAT I DO
At Aspen & Pine Renovation Design, my process is tailored to ensure every homeowner, whether working with a modest or expansive budget, receives thoughtful, high-quality design services. I offer two distinct services, starting with my Renovation Design Service. This foundational step includes a detailed measurement of the existing space while discussing your goals and vision. Within a few days, I deliver a professional 2D rendering of your renovation plan—designed to optimize storage, enhance flow, and bring your vision to life. This service is offered at a flat rate, making it accessible and transparent.​​
For clients seeking ongoing support, I offer Full Designer Services as an optional second step. This includes assisting with fixture and finish selections and easing communication with general and subcontractors to ensure every detail is executed beautifully. These services are billed hourly, offering flexibility for clients at any stage of their renovation journey.​

As a Leadville local, I pride myself on being the most affordable designer in the area. In a region surrounded by world-class ski resorts where many services are priced beyond reach for locals, I strive to remain accessible, helping homeowners achieve their dream spaces without the luxury price tag. My expertise is rooted in two decades of hands-on design and construction experience, paired with my life as a homeschooling mom of two and a yoga teacher at Blue Earth Yoga. My gypsy soul and passion for travel inspire my creativity, while my role as a mom sharpens my ability to design spaces ideal for families, their storage needs, and flow. ​
